We invite you to the spa of the future - a world where global temperatures are rising and clean drinking water has become a scarce resource.
Step into an oval space where everyone can see one another and every audience member becomes an active participant. Experience a poetic exploration of the nature of water and take part in the game for the world's last supply of clean drinking water. Together, we investigate water through the senses, history, and politics.
About the artists
For more than a decade, Secret Hotel has created participatory performances with, in, and about nature: a walking performance about - and with - ants, a celebration of bees around a long banquet table, and most recently Under Forest, an exploration of the many living beings that inhabit a forest and the ground beneath it.
Led by director and artistic director Christine Fentz, the company develops its work in close collaboration with both scientists and audiences. For the first time in nine years, Secret Hotel moves indoors to explore the history, sensory qualities, and political urgency of water.
